Mabel Barrett, daughter of the late Rowland and Mattie Woods Bryant was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 15, 1923 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on February, 5 2018 at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 21 days. She worked for many years as a cashier for the Kentucky Food Store and was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, Regina Sue Robertson of Camden, Ohio and Steven David Rader of Irvine, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mabel is preceded in death by her first husband, Steve David Rader; her second husband, Roy C. Barrett; and three siblings.
