Obituary for Blanche Pendergrass Evans

Blanche Pendergrass Evans, widow of Clyde Evans and the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Mona Lee Brandenburg Pendergrass was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on June 11, 1930 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on January 30, 2018 at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 18 days. She was a devoted member and active Willing Worker of the Beattyville Christian Church and a board member of the Owsley County Library.
She is survived by three daughters, Yvonda Jackson of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Karen Goocey, and Tamara Evans both of Lexington, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Lisa Jackson of Lexington, Kentucky, Crystal Hacker of Winchester, Kentucky, Tonya Goocey of Madison, Alabama, Melissa Hilliard of Canton, Georgia, and Ernie Evans of Winchester, Kentucky; 9 great grandchildren; and one half-sister, Anita Ferguson of Sylvania, Georgia.
In addition to her husband and parents, Blanche is preceded in death by one son, Ernie Evans; one daughter, Marcia Lynn Evans; and a half brother, Ernest Pendergrass.
