Ruth Smith Little, widow of Brack Little, Jr. and the daughter of the late Fred and Beatrice Evans Smith, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on March 26, 1923 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on January 24, 2018 at the age of 94 years, 9 months, and 29 days. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed cooking for her family and working in her flowers.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Bowling of Beattyville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Whitney Merriman (Jantzen) of Stanton, Kentucky, Brooke Riggs (Talon) and Bobbie Jean Allen (Jarrod) both of Richmond, Kentucky, Jackie Little of Booneville, Kentucky, Shawn Little, Jean Ann Tipton, Shelly Little, and Mike Little all of Beattyville, Kentucky; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Patty Smith of Beattyville, Kentucky and Judy Burns of Covington, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Brack; three sons, Jack, Brack, and Mike Little; a brother, Jimmy Smith and a sister, Linda Hudson.

Pallbearers include: Jantzen Merriman, Talon Riggs, Jarrod Allen, John Smith, Cameron Tipton, and Mike Thomas.
