Obituary for Imogene Watkins Thacker (Watkins)

Imogene Watkins Thacker, widow of Ralph Thacker and the daughter of the late Coursey and Florence Brewer Watkins was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on April 4, 1941 and departed this life in Jackson, Kentucky on December 12, 2017 at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 8 days. She was a retired factory worker of General Motors and a member of the Christian Church.
Imogene is survived by one brother, Carl Watkins of Wall Lake, Michigan; three sisters, Opal Kidd of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Carol Fox of St. Helens, Kentucky, and Patty Pangle of Beattyville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; three children, Robert Williams, Curtis Williams, and Jimmy Scott; five brothers, Paul, Johnny, Sam, Olie, and Buck Watkins; and four sisters, Mae, Golden, Garnet, and Viola Watkins.
