Billie Katherine  Dunaway (Davis)
Billie Katherine Davis Dunaway, daughter of the late Corbett and Ruth Bryant Davis, was born in Perry County, Kentucky on March 31, 1936 and departed this life in Pikeville, Kentucky on December 7, 2017 at the age of 81 years, 8 months, and 7 days. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. She was a long time member of Beattyville Church of God, enjoyed time with her family, and shopping trips with the senior citizens.
Billie Katherine is survived by six children, Virgil Dunaway an wife Janet of Beattyville, Kentucky, Doug Dunaway and wife Susan of Morrow, Ohio, Linda Thacker of Lexington, Kentucky, Teresa Napier and husband Ronnie, Audrey McKinney and husband Ray, and Corbett Dunaway and wife Debbie all of Beattyville; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Geraldine Kidd, Genneta Pittman, Pauline Hamilton, and Teresa Coomer; a special son-in-law, Carlo Napier of Beattyville; a dear friend, Ruby Spencer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Deb Napier and Mike Dunaway; two grandchildren, Chris Stepp and Brandon Napier; one brother Corbett Davis, Jr.; and two sisters, Geneva Vanderpool and Imogene Tibbs.
