BETTY JEAN HUNLEY BRANDENBURG, the widow of David Wendell Brandenburg, and the daughter of the late Walter and Fannie McGuire Hunley, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on August 24, 1934 and departed this life at her home in Lee County on December 2, 2017 at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 8 days. She was a former cashier for the Ben Franklin Store in Beattyville, a homemaker and a member of the Beattyville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brandenburg is survived by one son, Gordon Brandenburg of Salvisa, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Brandenburg was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David; and one son, Stowe Brandenburg.
