Anna  Kathryn "Bunny"  Newnam (Flynn)
ANNA KATHRYN “BUNNY” NEWNAM, the widow of Luther G. “Cooge” Newnam, and the daughter of the late Harley B. and Cecile Phillips Flynn, was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on December 11, 1921 and departed this life in Booneville, Kentucky on October 20, 2017 at the age of 95 years, 10 months and 9 days. She was a former beautician of over 30 years, a licensed funeral director for 57 years and a homemaker. She was a member of the Beattyville Christian Church and their Willing Workers group, the Beattyville Women’s Club and was a former member of the Beattyville Country Club.
Bunny is survived by three children, Larry G. Newnam and wife Lucy of Centennial, Colorado, Janet Lewis and husband David of Milan, Indiana, Michael Newnam and wife Denise of Beattyville; six grandchildren, Dawn Springs and husband Greg of Tallahassee, Florida, Larry D. Newnam and wife Christine of Buford, Georgia, Beth Newnam and Tony Olmstead of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Ryan Lewis and wife Andrea of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bradley and Alexandra Newnam both of Beattyville; four great grandchildren, Ashleigh and Bobby Smith both of Tallahassee and Alexander and Kathryn Newnam both of Buford; one sister, Betty Sue Flynn and husband Paul of Richmond, Kentucky; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy and JoAnn Flynn both of Beattyville, and Betty Lou McCroskey of Newburgh, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
