Obituary for Johnnie Ann South (Stepp)

Johnnie Ann South, wife of Charles H. Vanderpool, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on April 30, 1943 to the late Kelly and Albie Gabbard Stepp and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on October 5, 2017 at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 5 days.
In addition to her husband Charles of 23 years, Johnnie Ann is survived by two sons, Melvin South, Jr. and girlfriend Rebekah Hogan and Billy Paul Stepp all of Beattyville; two brothers, Carl Stepp of Winchester, Kentucky and David Stepp of Beattyville; one sister, Mary McIntosh and husband Wilbur of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kelly Stepp, Jr. and Sonny Stepp; two sisters, Inez Baldwin and Betty Coomer; and one half-sister, Daisey McIntosh.
Pallbearers include Ben Hogan, Ricky McIntosh, Terry McIntosh, Robbie Kearns, Seth Moore, and Kevin McIntosh.
Honorary Pallbearers include, Chauncey Vanderpool, Neil Vanderpool, and Donald Walling.
