Richard David Adams, husband of Vickie Lynn Caudill Adams, was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 6, 1944 to the late Dulith and Edith Stamper Adams. Mr. Adams departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky at the age of 72 years, 9 month, and 6 days. He was a former AT&T Service Technician and Baptist Minister and was a member of Jay C’s, Kiwanis Club, the Lee County School Board, the Board of Directors for Three Forks Regional Jail, and also the City Council.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Michael Adams and wife Tammy and Eric Adams all of Monticello, Kentucky, Nicholas Adams and fiancé Melissa Allen and her son Hayden, and Nathan Adams all of Beattyville, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Sierra West and husband Tyler of Lexington, Kentucky, and Erica Adams of Monticello, Kentucky; one great grandson, Atticus West of Lexington, Kentucky; and one sister, Donna Rhoda of Scottsboro, Alabama.
