Willard Cecil Bowman, son of the late Greene and Susie Young Bowman, was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on August 7, 1924 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on June 25, 2017 at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 18 days.
Willard is survived by five children, Emily Wilson and husband Rick of Crittenden, Kentucky, Paul Wayne Wathen and wife Judy of Beattyville, Kentucky, Archie Boyd Wathen and wife Kim of Beattyville, Kentucky, Janice Elaine Stephens and husband Allen of Florence, Kentucky, and Willard Lee Bowman of Corbin, Kentucky; two grandsons, Joe Wilson of Walton, Kentucky and Zack Wilson of Louisville, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Willard is preceded in death by one son, Danny Ray Bowman and long time companion, Geraldine Bowman.

Pallbearers include: Clarence Bowman, Rick Wilson, Joe Wilson, Zach Wilson, Irvie Brandenburg, and Paul Wayne Wathen.
