Lorenda Riley Jewell, widow of Noah Jewell and the daughter of the late Monday and Josie Thacker Riley, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on September 10, 1947 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on May 30, 2017 at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 20 days.
Lorenda is survived by one daughter, Linda L. Brandenburg and husband Irvie; one granddaughter, Miranda Akers and husband Brandon all of Beattyville, Kentucky; five grandsons, Kevin Riley of Beattyville, Kentucky, Lucas Vanderpool and wife Tora of Morehead, Kentucky, Nicholas Jewell of Beattyville, Kentucky, and James and Josh Noble both of Jackson, Kentucky; many great grandchildren; one brother, Ernie L. Riley of Beattyville, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
