Obituary for Edgar Holiday

Edgar  Holiday
Edgar Holiday, husband of Beverly Jean Duncil Holiday and the son of the late Ray and Sarah Elizabeth McIntosh Holiday was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on October 21, 1926 and departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on May 29, 2017 at the age of 90 years, 7 months, and 8 days.
In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by 8 children, Debra Derr of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, John Michael Holiday of Lexington, Kentucky, Jennifer Adams of Versailles, Kentucky, Sandi Holiday and Chris Holiday of Beattyville, Kentucky, Matthew Jewell and Sebastian Jewell of Cynthiana, Kentucky, and Anita Holland of Beattyville, Kentucky; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three brothers, William Hernden of Tacoma, Washington, Charles Hernden of Newport, Kentucky, and Lebart Garrett of Booneville, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Holiday; two sisters, Roberta Vaughn and Lucille Mason; and three brothers, Merrill, James, and Clayton Holiday.
