Obituary for Andrew Jackson Jones

Andrew Jackson “Jack” Jones, 83, was born on March 21, 1934 to Conley and Cordia Brown Jones in Cressmont, Kentucky.
He worked as a coal miner in his younger years then worked at General Motors in Dayton, Ohio as a job setter until he retired and moved back to Lee County. He loved gardening, doing building projects, reading, and was a Sunday school teacher and song leader at Heidelberg Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Kincaid Jones. They were married for 52 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry Clay Jones and Estill Jones; and seven sisters, Geneva Anderson, Thelma Guy, Carol Ann Doan, Maxine Morath, Louise Turner, Eula Coomer, and Charlene Gilbert.
