Obituary for Mrs. Ruby McKinney Estes

Mrs. Ruby McKinney  Estes
Ruby McKinney Estes, widow of Ruford Estes and the daughter of the late Hubert and Susie Griffin McKinney, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on June 14, 1927 and departed this life in Booneville, Kentucky on April 12, 2017 at the age of 89 years, 9 months, and 29 days. Mrs. Estes was a devoted member of the Pine Crest First Church of God.
She is survived by three daughters, Josephine Stapleton and husband Jr. of Richmond, Indiana, Margie Ann Flinchum and husband James, and Patricia Longworth and husband Larry all of Beattyville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Lisa Ann Sanchez and husband Manny of Richmond, Kentucky, Gary Lee Stapleton and wife Wendi of Richmond, Indiana, Crystal Robinson and husband Billy of Beattyville, Kentucky, and Laricia Reed and husband James of Centenniel, Colorado; six great grandchildren, Casey Renee and Sean Michael Stapleton, Alexa Rose and Marissa Ann Sanchez, Dougie Robinson, and Lyra Adele Reed; two sisters, Lucille Watkins of Beattyville, Kentucky and Frances “Tom” Estes of Centerville, Indiana; three brothers, Wallace McKinney of Rockcastle, Kentucky, Lee McKinney of Winchester, Kentucky, and Wayne McKinney of Richmond, Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruby is preceded in death by two sons, Edward E. and Charles Everett Estes; two brothers, Donald and Hubert McKinney Jr.; and two sisters, Wanda Arvin and Gertrude McQueen.
