Alfred Paul Dunaway, the husband of Martha Rose Deaton Dunaway and the son of the late Shelby and Imogene Seal Dunaway, was born in St. Helens, Kentucky on October 11, 1947 and departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on April 3, 2017 at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 23 days. Alfred was a member of the Church of Christ and was a wonderful and loving husband and father.
In addition to his wife, Alfred is survived by one son, Anthony Dunaway; one step daughter, Sheila Coomer; two grandsons, Jonathan and Justin Shuler; four brothers, Lynn Dunaway, Tracy Dunaway, Billy H. Fox, and Jasper Dunaway; three sisters, Pearl Ann Spencer, Juanita Deaton, and Geraldine Fielder; one best friend Doug Charles; one special friend, Charles Coomer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Alfred is preceded in death by his parents; one son Brent David Moore; four brothers, Sheridan, Thomas, Jake, and Billy Gene Dunaway; and two sisters, Eileen Dunaway and Irene Stamper.
