Henry William Addison, widower of Lois Carol Dagestad Addison and the son of the late James and Ollie B. Poe Addison was born in Manchester, Kentucky on February 21, 1929 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on February 28, 2017 at the age of 88 years, and 7 days. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a former Keeneland special force police officer.
Henry is survived by ten children, James Addison, Nels Addison, and William Shane Addison all of Beattyville, Kentucky, Emery Addison of Sadieville, Kentucky, Eddie Addison, Joyce Bruner, Janice Bruner, Louise Hensley, and Peggy Burus, all of Lexington, Kentucky, and Delores of Oregon; seventeen grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, Jaxson, Shane, Daniel, Michael, Bubba, Johnathan, Christina, Mark, BT, Johnny, Nathan, Makalia, Shawna, Billy, and Liz; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Delbert Addison, Jesse Addison, and Charles Addison; two sister, Opal Addison and Gwendolyn Addison.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by one infant son, Nathan; one brother, Clayton Addison; and three sisters.
