Margie (Horn) Shuler, the wife of James “Jimmy” Shuler of Beattyville, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Melvin and Anna Tipton Horn, was born in Richmond, Kentucky on December 22, 1955 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on October 12, 2016 at the age of 60 years, 9 months, and 20 days. She was a member of the Abundant Light Faith Center and the Hopewell Church of God. Because of her kind and loving heart, she was a mother to all. She was known by many for her cooking and her love for serving people.
In addition to her husband, Margie is survived by three children, Jamie Shuler and wife Alisha of Beattyville, Christy Taulbee and husband Steve of Winchester, Kentucky, and Micah Shuler and wife Amanda of Richmond, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Wanda Shuler of Beattyville; ten grandchildren, Tristan Shuler and wife Alexis, Brooklyn Taulbee, Brayden Shuler, India Taulbee, Ethan Shuler, Abby Linger, Kaydence Shuler, Jared Lucas, Laci Shuler, and Micah Paul Shuler II; a special niece, Misty Traylor; a special great-nephew, Dalton Traylor; two brothers, Kenis Horn and Carlos “Artie” Horn; one sister, Michelle Coomer; several nieces and nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sheila Horn; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Shuler Brown; and her father-in-law, Lloyd “Joe” Shuler.
