Obituary for Jakie Dan Farler

JAKIE DAN FARLER, the son of McCager and Shirley Ann Deaton Farler of Beattyville, Kentucky, was born in Hazard, Kentucky on December 13, 1958 and departed this life in Lee County, Kentucky on July 25, 2016 at the age of 57 years, 7 months and 12 days. He was a fabricator for a steele factory and attended the Beattyville Assembly of God.
In addition to his parents, Jakie is survived by two brothers, Donald Farler and Janice Whitaker, and Virgil Farler and wife Jessica all of Beattyville; his nieces and nephews, Melissa Jones, Tonya Lambert and Billy Roarke and her children Kennedy Lambert and Cardinal Drake, Michael Kidd, Olivia Yinger and husband Brandon and son Brennan, Kaitlyn Farler, Deven Arnold and wife Cheyenne, and Brack Tyler Newnam; his friend, Becky Moore and her daughter Carmen of Beattyville; and a host of other family and friends.
Jakie was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Kidd; a brother, Ricky Farler; and a great niece, Jaidynn Alexis Farler.
