Janet Carol Smith Roberts, wife of Russell Roberts of Irvine, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Elmo and Martha Stepp Smith was born on May 8, 1948 and departed this life at her home in Irvine, Kentucky on June 12, 2016 at the age of 68 years, 1 month, and 4 days. She loved the Lord and her family and was a member and Assistant Pastor of Mt. Olive Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her husband, Russell, Janet is survived by three children, Beth Roberts Barnes and husband Bobby of Irvine, Kentucky, Russell Lee Roberts, Jr. and wife Tilda of Booneville, Kentucky, and Gary Roberts of Irvine, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Katlyn and Bobby Barnes, Jr., and Stephen, Jacob, and Joseph Roberts; eight brothers and sisters, Sue Baker, Ruby Dooley, Bonnie Dooley, Phyllis Oliver, Teresa Creech Lemaster, Michael Creech, Ronnie Smith, and Gary Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
