Obituary for Kenneth Leroy Napier Sr.

Kenneth Leroy  Napier Sr.
Kenneth Leroy Napier, Sr., son of the late James Paniel and Gertrude Hogan Napier was born in Oneida, Kentucky on April 13, 1951 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on February 18, 2016 at the age of 64 years, 10 months, and 5 days. Kenneth was a member of the Beattyville Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and was a Big UK Wildcats fan. He worked as an oil field worker for Morris and White Oil Company, a carpenter, and a Deputy Jailer and Deputy Sherriff.
He is survived by four children, Lisa Napier-Veney and husband Shawn of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Vaughnie Raines and husband Ron of North Vernon, Indiana, Gertie Ann Napier of Winchester, Kentucky, and Kenneth Leroy Napier of Beattyville, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter, six brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by one son, James Leroy Napier; two brothers, Chester Clay Napier and Gerald Evans Napier; one sister Caroline Elizabeth Napier; and one nephew, Brandon Lee Napier.
