Rosa Jane Newton, daughter of Lois Jean Johnson and the late Arvel Newton was born in Richmond, Kentucky on April 26, 1977 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville on January 20, 2016 at the age of 38 years, 8 months, and 25 days.
In addition to her mother Lois, Rosa is survived by her step father, Dallas Gale Johnson; three children, Haley Spencer, Anthony Stepp, and Cassie Stepp; four brothers, James Newton, Kenneth Newton, Marvin Newton, and Arvel Newton, Jr.; one sister, Jeanette Newton; two grandchildren, Ashton James Chambers and Christopher Elijah Brewer all of Beattyville, Kentucky; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Arvel Newton; two half brothers, Bobby Joe Newton and Melvin Newton; and one half sister, Wilma Jean Newton.
