Charles Beech Jewell, husband of Bettie Wilson Jewell of Booneville, Kentucky and the son of the late Mackey and Rosie Holland Jewell was born in Hazard, Kentucky on May 29, 1926 and departed this Hazard, Kentucky on December 9, 2015 at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 13 days.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jewell is survived by one brother, Paul Jewell of Barbourville, Kentucky; two sisters, Irene Jewell of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jean Parson of Ohio; four children from a previous marriage; and one nephew, Billy Jewell of Wolfe County, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one step son, Robert Osbourne.
