Obituary for James Edward Palmer

James Edward Palmer, widower of Alpha June Charles Palmer and the son of the late Luster and Gladys Branson Palmer, was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on December 25, 1934 and departed this life in Jackson, Kentucky on October 2, 2015 at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 7 days. James was in the Army, a master woodworker, and loved to fish.
He is survived by his daughter Marcia D. Fugate and husband Eric of Beattyville, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Traci Pryse-Fugate and her friend Joshua Moore and son Landon, all of Richmond, Kentucky; two brothers, Luster Palmer, Jr. of Berea, Kentucky and Marcus Palmer of Franklin, Ohio; and four sisters, Carlie Barker of Lancaster, Kentucky, Gail Stidham of Lexington, Kentucky, Gladys Inmon of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, and Alice Klaber of West Chester, Ohio.
James is preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Widener, Mavis McIntosh, and Juanita Newton.
