Robert Lee Allen, husband of Addie Allen and the son of the late Oakley and Martha Johnson Allen, was born in Cressmont, Kentucky on November 4, 1954 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on July 22, 2015 at the age of 60 years, 8 months, and 18 days.
In addition to his wife, Addie, he is survived by five children, David Lee Allen of Paris, Kentucky, Robbie W. Allen, Charlene Allen Haynes, Vernon Allen, and David Samuel Lee Allen, all of Beattyville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Haynes, Addie Ann Haynes, Conner Allen, and Samuel Alexander Allen; seven brothers and sisters, Zelma Partin of Lexington, Kentucky, Velma Deaton of Beattyville, Jerry Wayne Allen of Berea, Kentucky, Ruby Smith, Alma Allen, Mary Martin, and Katrina Conley, all of Richmond, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relative and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Duncil and Katherine Allen; and two brothers, Oakley Allen, Jr. and Luther Allen.
