Sandra Kay Bush Abner, loving wife of William (Bill) Howard Abner of Beattyville, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Golden Alexander, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 17, 1949 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on February 19, 2015 at the age of 65 years, 8 months, and 2 days. Sandy was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, served as a board member for the Beattyville Housing and Development, and loved animals, flowers, quilting, and helping others.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Lynda Gayle McKibben and husband Ray of Alabama; one sister Gail Morris of Morehead, Kentucky; and father-in-law William Abner, Jr. and wife Annette of Beattyville.
