Gertrude Johnson Emery, wife of the late Larry Emery, and the daughter of the late Johnnie and Mary McIntosh Johnson departed this life on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the age of 74 years, 3 months, and 2 days. She was born January 16, 1939 in Lee County, Kentucky.
Mrs. Emery is survived by 2 daughters, Jennifred Hoskins of Latonia, Kentucky and Jamie Emery of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; one son, Jimmy Lee Hoskins of Somerset, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a longtime companion, Brian Ashcraft of Latonia, Kentucky; two brothers, Henry Johnson of Independence, Kentucky and Bob Johnson of Winchester, Kentucky; and one sister, Freida Smallwood of Independence, Kentucky.
Mrs. Emery was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Jeanine Green, and one son, Alfred Hoskins, Jr.
